🧸 Design Minimums 🧸
All grub designs are required to include the following to be considered part of the species.

Body/Face
- Short muzzle with no visible nostrils.
- Bipedal Stance with 2 digitigrade legs
- Paws with 4 fingers/toes max.
- All elements 'attached’ to the grub
- General visual/anatomical similarity to the species.
- ⮤ Prosthetics are always allowed.

Mandibles
- Must be visible and not hidden by accessories, fur, etc.
- Must be symmetrical in shape and size.
- ⮤ Other mandible design elements may be asymmetrical.

Segmented Tail
- A minimum of 2 segments, not including the Bowl.
- All segments must be the same overall shape.
- ⮤ Using more than 5 segments requires the 6+ segments trait.

Bowl on tail
- Must be at least 1 subject in the bowl; Contents must be clearly visible.
- Only 1 bowl, located on the end of the tail.
- Some amount of empty space within the bowl.
- ⮤ Bowl located between segments requires Integrated Bowl trait.

Spiracles
- 1 pair of circular spiracles per segment.
- Must be a solid, closed shape, located in the middle of each segment.
- ⮤ Changing the shape or having colors vary between spiracles requires traits.

Your image must be submitted in the following format to be accepted.

Sizing
- Minimum Dimensions: 300 pixels on any side
- Maximum Dimensions: 1500 pixels on any side
- File Size: No more than 4 mb

Other
- File must be provided as a .png, .jpg, or .jpeg file type.
- Background must be transparent.
- ⮤ No grounding elements that exceed the silhouette, including cast shadows.

No Disclosure needed
- ✅ Similar aesthetic/theming to an existing Grub, executed very differently.
- ✅ Similar colors to a design you do not own, with different design elements/theming.
- ✅ Minimal design elements inspired by other characters/IPs, with all elements original or transformed to be distinct.

Acceptable (With Disclosure)
- ✅ A character you own transformed into a Grub.
- ⮤ Grubs based on your characters are permanently attached to that character and must be traded alongside it.
- ✅ Similar colors to a design/IP you do not own, with similar theming but different execution.
- ✅ Some design elements inspired by other characters/IPs, with most elements original or transformed to be distinct.

Not Acceptable
- ❌ A character you do not own transformed into a Grub.
- ❌ Most elements directly inspired by a character/IP you do not own.
- ⮤ Grubs based on public domain characters/IPs may bear closer resemblance, but must still be visually distinct from that character.
- ❌ Similar aesthetic/theming to an existing Grub, and executed similarly.
- ❌ Visually identical colors to a design you don’t own, with similar design elements.
- ❌ Visually identical design elements to a design you do not own, recolored.
Tail Bowl Exception Note: Above rules apply to characters placed within the tail bowl– With the exception of public domain characters. These may be included without significant changes within the bowl only.

Inapplicable Anatomy
- Nostrils/Noses
- Breasts or Teats
- Human hands, legs, or feet.
- Extra terrarium parts
- ⮤ Only the tail bowl is a terrarium by default, the mandibles may be terrariums when using the ‘Terrarium Mandibles’ Trait.

- Hate Symbols
- Suggestive/Fetish Content
- Politically-Oriented Content
- Heavy Gore
- NSFW etc.

🧶 “Signature” Accessories 🧶️
Designs may include one (or a small set of) “Signature” Accessories or an article of clothing in their masterlist image. Examples include a hat, belt, collar, or earrings.

Accessories may NOT
- Be held (only worn)
- Cover more than roughly 10% of the body or head.
- Cover mandibles, bowl, spiracles, or potential traits
- Be over ~25% the size of the grub
NOTE: Exceeding these limits requires the inorganic parts trait. Small, case-by case allowances may be made depending on the execution, design, and accessory type.
